First – Check  to see if your motorcycle, ATV, or UTV is off-road capable and race ready

• Motorcycle, ATV’s, and UTV’s all have different requirements for safety concerns, please read over the  USRA rulebook and confirm that your machine is ready and compliant.
• reference the number plate guide to make sure you have the correct color combos or buy temp plates on race day for a small fee.
• Contact the appropriate race representative with any questions.

Second – Preregister for the race or event

• Our motorcycle clubs put in thousands of volunteer hours to keep the races running smoothly, preregistering gives the clubs every advantage possible to make that happen.
• Race flyers with event specific details are posted in advance of the race and will be added to the USRA homepage as available.
• If you have any questions about a specific event please reach out to the appropriate club for information, another great resource is the Desert Flash & USRA Facebook page.

 Third – Race weekend, come out and race!!

• The fun begins, make sure you get to the race early to pickup your preregistration packet or register the night before/day of before the cutoff time.
• The race flier will have directions to the pit areas, but please do your own research for lodging or camping as most of our races are in remote areas.
• A riders meeting will be held at designated times and is a mandatory meeting to update riders on current conditions and safety concerns, so make sure you know your riders meeting time/location.

Fourth – Join a Club

• We know you’ll be hooked on racing after just one experience so we encourage riders to join one of our many MC’s to help make the sport fun for everyone.  Check out our “Join a Club” tab.
